I'm back and there's so much to tell you!

First of all....  Hi!  I dropped off the planet for a while due to some health issues, which are improving; and then we took a much needed vacation.  But now it's time to get back to work.  First things first:

We haven't really had much for heat waves here where I live, but I know that other places have been very very hot this summer.  Perfectly timed for summer, is my Bits N Pieces contribution

Fresh as a Daisy

After a cold, hard Winter, my thoughts are turning to Spring and the knowledge that it's just around the corner.  That's exciting!  What is also exciting is TNS's new Bits N Pieces release at Scraps N Pieces!

The beautiful greens of this kit remind me of the first little sprouts poking through the dirt, the trees leafing out, grass coming back to life, and just an overall freshness.

Chill Out - a new release from TNS

Wow!  Can you believe it's the first of December already?!  I sure can't.  But it is and that means it is Bits N Pieces time!  For the first week of December my new kit Chill Out is broken down into parts that are only $1 each!

This is not your normal winter kit.  Just look at those soft colours.  It makes me feel content and cozy no matter how frightful the weather may be outside.   And look at all those sweet elements!  In fact there are 44 unique elements in this kit.  

Carrying on the content and cozy wintry theme, there are 14 gorgeous papers to help your LOs show how you embrace winter.

On top of that, you can get a coordinating alpha.  Samplers remind me of sitting in front of the wood cook stove at Grandma's while she taught me to cross stitch.  Another content and cozy memory.  This alpha is only uppercase letters, but includes the numbers 0-9 and the common punctuation.

This kit is perfect for all your LOs of the kids bundled up, building snowmen or catching snowflakes on their tongues.  But it isn't limiting if you don't live in a snowy climate.  One of the North Stars lives in Texas where there isn't much snow in the winter.  But they do get beautiful sunsets.  The colours in this kit worked fantastically for her LO.

Here are the LOs that the North Stars made with Chill Out. I know you won't need any help being inspired by the kit, but I'm so proud of them that I have to show them off! It's even been used to make Facebook Timeline pictures with.

TNS has some new releases!

Today is October first!!  Already?!!  Well, there's a lot to be excited about with October being here:

First of all -- the beginning of a month means it's Bits N Pieces time at Scraps N Pieces!  This month we went with a very brightly coloured animal theme.  I decided that it was the perfect time for me to make a stickers kit:

The textures in this kit are phenomenal.  I took a lot of care to ensure that every element, every paper will knock your socks off when you examine their detail.  As with every BNP product, each piece is selling for $1 -- but only for the first week of October.  After that, I will bundle them up into a kit and sell them for $5.99 (but they will still be eligible for the SNP anniversary progressive sale price).

New in August

This is the beginning of a new month and that means new challenges and new Bits N Pieces kits at Scraps N Pieces.

I'll start with the challenge news.  This month True North Scraps is hosting the "Use It All" Challenge. I've provided a free mini kit and the challenge is to use everything in it in a layout.
