Check out your fun participation prize...

Hope to see you there!

Big savings, coupons and prizes, and lots of fun activities!

I'm so excited to announce that True North Scraps is the Featured Designer at Scraps N Pieces from August 16 - 31!

This is going to be so much fun!

Turtle Scraps:  Every couple of days, early in the morning, a set of 7 instructions will be posted.  You will have until 6 am CST the following day to post your LO in the True North Scraps gallery at Scraps N Pieces.  The reason I'm holding a Turtle Scrap is so that my friends from  Europe, Asia and Down Under can play along too.  Chats may be held any time during the day though, so watch for the schedule that will be posted at Scraps N Pieces and on my Facebook Page.  Chats are optional events, but you never know when the RAK Fairy might show up...  Every Turtle Scrap you complete within the time limit will earn you a piece of my kit called Sunday Afternoon!

If you can't collect the whole thing, "Sunday Afternoon" will go in all of the TNS stores on September 1st.

Bingos:  We'll be holding a few bingo games during the 2 weeks I'm featured designer.  I will give you a list of words to choose and you make your own bingo card.  Bingo cards must be completed and submitted one full day prior to the scheduled bingo game.  Bingo will be played during a chat.  The RAK Fairy may be attending those games!

Treasure Hunt:  On August 16th I'll be posting an image with some easily identifiable pieces of various kits in my SNP store.  PM your answers to me before the end of the month and if you are correct, you will earn a 25% coupon to my store!

Group Hug:  Another super-easy way to earn valuable savings!  For every 5 comments you post in the True North Scraps gallery, I will give you 5% off a purchase in my SNP store.  You can collect up to a maximum 50% off!

If you participate in the Treasure Hunt and Group Hug, you can potentially earn a coupon worth 75% off one purchase of TNS products at Scraps N Pieces!  Coupons will accumulate throughout the featured designer time and one coupon for the full prize amount that you earned will be awarded by September 5, 2013.

Midnight Madness:  Every Friday night at midnight in August (Aug 16, 23, and 30th), I will put my Scraps N Pieces store on sale for 24 hours for 60% off all regular priced products.

Now that I've explained all that, are you excited for August 16th to come?!!  I sure am!

Speed Scrap at SNP April 16

Please join Joyful Expressions for the first JE speed scrap at Scraps N Pieces:

The speed scrap will begin at 7PM CST in the Speed Scraps Thread in the Scraps N Pieces forum .  Directions and advice will also be available in the chat room   If you complete your layout in the allotted time, you will receive the participation prize.  It is the next scrapbooking mini kit in the Joyful Expressions' Fresh Colors series, Tender Shoots:

Love the kit but can't make the speed scrap?  You can grab the Tender Shoots mini kit in the Joyful Expressions' store for just $1.99!

Plenty of news!

Don't forget to join me this afternoon for my Speed Scrap at SNP.

The prize is a fantastic little mini kit called Small World Add-On.

This add on was made as a prize for the speed scrap, but I couldn't turn off the kit designing machine and ended up splitting it into a full-sized kit and a mini.

And that leads me to News Item #2.  I am releasing this kit off my usual release cycle.  Small World and Small World Add On will be available on March 28th in both my stores.

Next and most exciting news to break to you is this:

I have over 1000 Likes on Facebook now.  I decided to celebrate this milestone with a big sale.  To be exact, it's a Buy My Store sale!

The small print:  Sale ends March 31, not valid on collabs and not valid with other coupons.

The Mayan calendar begins over again on December 21.  Some people say it's the end of the world; some say that this is just like us flipping the calendar to a new year.  All I know for sure is that on December 20th, I'm going to party like there's no to-Maya!

Use this code to get the end of the world discount of 70% off until we are all safe and sound in the next b'ak'tun.

Speed Scrap at SNP

It's time to get away from all the hustle and bustle of the holiday for an hour or so. A Fish Design is hosting a Speed Scrap at SNP on Saturday, Dec. 15th at 8 pm EST.  She has a terrific  template as a participation prize.

Less than 24 hours left to enter!

The contest is coming to a close tomorrow.  I will be drawing the winner at noon Central time tomorrow.   The lucky person picked by Mr Random wins their choice of one of my two new kits that will be releasing this week!  Here is where you have to go to enter:  Sneak a Peek at my Next Two Releases... and Contest Time and you can grab poki's cluster freebie while you are there!

Are you wondering what special day it is today?  Well I don't really like any of the choices.  First one is National Blow Bagpipes Day.  I'd rather listen to nails on a blackboard.  (My apologies to any bagpipe players that may be reading this).  An alternative to Bagpipe Day is even worse.  It's Have a Bad Day Day.  No thanks!  And finally, I guess this one is the winner -- it's World Toilet Day.  So everybody go celebrate having a toilet!
