I apologize for any inconvenience to real people, but I have been receiving spam comments at a rate of about 2 per hour, which adds up to a LOT in a day.  I finally decided to do something I really didn't want to do -- implement the word verification box.  At least it's not Captcha - I can never get that one on the first try!  I am sorry about this, but I just can't waste time finding and deleting spam comments anymore.  I hope you understand.

Today's "national celebration day" is National Roof Over Your Head Day.  That is something I do when I start feeling sorry for myself for whatever reason... I remind myself that I am so lucky.  I do have a warm roof over my head, I have clothes and shoes, I have food and I can eat daily, I live in a country of peace, and I do not have a serious illness.  When I think about the people who do not have what I do, it somehow makes my problems seem so small.

Chill Out - a new release from TNS

Wow!  Can you believe it's the first of December already?!  I sure can't.  But it is and that means it is Bits N Pieces time!  For the first week of December my new kit Chill Out is broken down into parts that are only $1 each!

This is not your normal winter kit.  Just look at those soft colours.  It makes me feel content and cozy no matter how frightful the weather may be outside.   And look at all those sweet elements!  In fact there are 44 unique elements in this kit.  

Carrying on the content and cozy wintry theme, there are 14 gorgeous papers to help your LOs show how you embrace winter.

On top of that, you can get a coordinating alpha.  Samplers remind me of sitting in front of the wood cook stove at Grandma's while she taught me to cross stitch.  Another content and cozy memory.  This alpha is only uppercase letters, but includes the numbers 0-9 and the common punctuation.

This kit is perfect for all your LOs of the kids bundled up, building snowmen or catching snowflakes on their tongues.  But it isn't limiting if you don't live in a snowy climate.  One of the North Stars lives in Texas where there isn't much snow in the winter.  But they do get beautiful sunsets.  The colours in this kit worked fantastically for her LO.

Here are the LOs that the North Stars made with Chill Out. I know you won't need any help being inspired by the kit, but I'm so proud of them that I have to show them off! It's even been used to make Facebook Timeline pictures with.
